Love Machine, I think they are the same one's that I have. I have 110s K-planes. Not made anymore,the factory told me they were to expensive for their size. I guess people with smaller boats didn't want to spend that much $. Doug

Yep, that looks like the ones I have. I think the best way to go is bolting stainless plates to the existing ones. Probably a winter project for me.

Well that explains a lot. I had those on the python. The slow reaction can be pretty dangerous. Wish I had known that before. I did feel that it would have benefited from longer tabs.

I had those 110s on my 1989 24' Pantera I/O and I thought they worked OK. Certainly better than the Bennett sheet metal crap I had on my 20' Donzi.
I had the 280s on my 24’ Super and they worked vary well.
To be honest, with a twin outboard, I don’t think going to a bigger tab is going to gain you much. You can change the attitude of your boat a lot by trimming the engines.

I was told by bennett that you can make them run twice as fast by running dual pumps (one per side) for twin rams. the pump can only flow a certain amount, so the twin rams actually run half as fast as a single, but by running multiple pumps you can make them run full speed, but I was too cheap to buy more pumps:D

Mine had the twin rams.

The 280 K-planes on the apache work a whole lot better....night and day difference. Makes driving a lot easier.
