Twin staggered 28???

It can be done. The rear bulkhead would need to re-glassed forward but we do this type of modification when we do outboards on the 28' model and go with the extended cockpit option. There still would a good size cockpit area in the 28' model.
It would be an awesome set up.

Key words being thought and think. LOL
I still think a set of 500hp aluminum small blocks would be a killer set-up.

But never know what the future holds...

I'm thinking an SE 24 3man with twin LS small blocks full stagger with saddle tanks moved back to offset balance....hmmm...a man can dream ya know.

Angel, you know the where abouts of your old 28?
It's got some HOT sbc's in it, right?

Hope it's not true...those motors were sweet and were built super nice.
Twin LS sbc is the way to go for anyone considering twins...BBC power and lightweight!

We did build a Pantera 28' ( non stepped ) with twin 525 EFI's that I personally ran right at 93-94 MPH on GPS.
With twin Mercury 500 EFI's there was 3 of them built and they would all run between 89-92 MPH.
Now with the newer T.S. bottom the 28' SR are approximately 10 % faster .
