Default Anyone know this pantera

http://www.boattrader.com/listing/19...42-HP-91276512

This is the link for the boat. Looking to see if anyone knows anything about this boat. I know all the pantera guys seem really close.

After shopping for over two years at all kinds of speed boats started with checkmates and own one, then looked into Apache boats with the really high price. the guys in the apache section of this site started talking about pantera's and for the price and the support of the owner of the company its a great boat. then after going to the St. Clair race and seeing the lines and see the boat race it was the winner boat.

So any info on the boat line is always welcome. looking for a 24 or 28. but the newer design boat with the windscrean. btu hard to find. and love the idea of Twin motors i/o's. but being a mechanic how bad are the twins to work on?

I find it odd that the Pantera pictured is sporting an Apache style grpahics package.

I would prefer the Pantera over the Apache, regardless of price. Well made boats, great support, and no drug running history...

Its a good thing that the 80's style and colors are coming back. LOL i really dont mind the grpahics on the side but could do without them too.

Just talked to Pire 57 on the boat its a brokrage boat selling is stuck at 40k is what hes firm at. Owner has told sales crew boat has 502's but sales man who inspcted the boat thinks that they are actually 454 or maybe bored over 454 but not a true 502 blocks. 81hr on fresh motors no idea on total hrs for the hull. boat has been redone in 2001. but what should something like this be worth? for a deal on the boat?

The fact the owner is claiming incorrect engines means you should walk away from this boat; who knows what else is incorrect, untrue, or improperly done...

I'm pretty sure the painter that Pantera used in the mid 90's also had painted some of the Apache's as well.
