Cool JGB We saw you on the water....

Guess we saw you around Memorial Day.
Do you live near St Pete Beach? Are you going on
the Poker Run Labor Day?

yeah, i waved to you but i don't think i could've distracted you from the thunder of your innovation power as you were riding down maximo canal. that thing sounds sweet and made my house rumble as you idled by. dangerkitty, it was kind of cool seeing you drive by cause i was in the shop while yours was being built. i saw it as it came out of the paint booth. Kinda of like seeing a baby born and watching it mature through life. Sweet Boat!

I am sure i'll be boating on labor day but not sure i'll be doing the poker run. I'll most likely be cruising offshore off St Pete beach and possibly anchor off the beach and soak up some rays.

best regards,

james

Default Finally Completed 24' Pantera

OK Here is the mostly finished product. Refurbed the entire engine, tranny, outdrive, stereo etc. The engine is a one-off 454 w/ custom EFI that I built using old school technology-meaning a camaro computer-yes from a car(O2 sensor included)- 430HP/470 torque. I redid the entire package in a Ferrari red/black wrinkle powder coating. Also added a 14 quart oil pan, new hoses, new trim pump, new clutches, seals, plannetary, and outdrive gaskets. Was a ***** to do since Im out west in California and everyone that knows a **** about these TRS trans/outdrives is in Florida. So I am now an official expert in the rebuilding(well close). Anyone redoin one make sure you tell your parts guy you have a chevy/ford/mopar for the tranny bolt/bellhousing pattern. YES it does matter. Other than that cut the seats done about 4" and added 2-10" subwoofers in boxes under the front seats. Also added the full 800 watts and 4-6X9's, a CD changer and Head unit. Thumps when sittin at the sand bar/docks. Hehe ;-) Last to do is graphics in vinyl. Maybe some shadow flames or just a simple flame pinstriping in black and white. Still thinking of a flag theme being patriotic and all. OK here they are.
PS
Boat is for sale-gottah go big yeah know. GO BIG / GO HARD or GO HOME. HEhe
Also a pic of the tow vehicle-its for sale too. ;-)

Default Pics ?

I was able to get pics to download into the "Reader's Rides" section and into the "Engines", "Tow Vehicles" etc but not able to post here. Anyway I think there were a couple of you wanting pics. I will try to email this weekend. Or drop me a line at
[email protected]
and I will reply to your email with clipped pics and attach that way. Unless you guys can tell me how to make the pics take up less space.
Thanks

Thumbs up My Pantera..

Yep, finally got one of my own. I bought this boat from Jo Nunez at Pantera. It's a '99 28 with twin 502 Mags, Marine Machine full Hydraulic steering. Boat runs 80mph with the 26p 4 blades. i'm going to swith the 26s for 27/28s because the motors will bump the rev limiters at WFO, and the holeshot will whip you over the seatback..
I attached one pic. please excuse the vulgarity, as the pic was taken for a friend's benefit.
I'll have some better pics after this weekend in Ft. Lauderdale.

Hey BJ- Your Pantera is very cool, but I had to have a boat with a cabin..
