Default 28 Single Rams

Does anyone know what the proper length of steering rams for a 28 single, so they dont hit the stringers?

I think the boat had Imcos on it.

Thanks

I think it will depend on the steering brand and the boat. Pretty sure mine were 9" Marine Machine.

not sure what you mean by "not hit the stringers"
I can measure or take a pic if you want. What am I looking for?

From the mounting position on the wingplate to the mounts on the transome. How long are the rams in the centered position?

I have a pair of shorter rams for the Konrad and if used on a bravo they would mount right at the stringers, so they would need to be longer.

My drive is gone so i can't measure the centers on the mounts.
It would seem to me there is some grace in the mounting location.
I could measure the ram sleeve and that may tell you something.
