Did the Sea Trial last weekend and it went very well, very impressive Hull - it was riculously solid. Afterwords Liz and I splashed the Donzi to get some linkage adjustments checked out with our Mechanical Surveyor and it felt like I was driving a peice of Paper with a motor compared to the 28.This will be an awesome boat in the Cheasapeake Bay. Still a couple of items to be finalized - but we are in the final stages of the process. I won't be able to physically get it until after the Lake Cumberland Donzi Run anyway.
So end of the month it should be in my drive way or yard actually it won't fit in my driveway.

Soooo at the risk of getting sucked into some unnecessary subterfuge, Danny, are you ready to let on which boat you bought yet?
And for the record, a number of people thought it was mine. It's not Duunoit owns my boat now...

Soon - the deal was once it's in my driveway then we can spill the beans. Trust me we're all anxious on this one. The current owner has become a good friend and will remain one - the Factory has been terrific at answering questions and communicating to ease my mind during the process. It's gonna be an adjustment for Lizzy and I to get used to a much larger boat by comparison. But we're both looking forward to the experience. I think it will be the perfect boat for us on the Northern Chesapeake.
I'll post pics here first as soon as it's home - meanwhile this morning I have to run the 22 Classic to the Engine Builder to see what let loose at the Lake Cumberland Donzi Run last week. Unfortuantely - this is real boating.

I always feel it's bad Karma to celebrate a new toy and spike the endzone before the deal is done ........

I've had a lot of fun in that neck of the woods... Former girlfriend and currently one of my best friends lives in Middletown and works in E-Town. I've also done things in Lancaster that would peel the paint off Ebenezer Stolzfuss's buggy...
It'll be nice to have a Pantera brother in that neck of the woods! Good luck!

About a week away from bringing it home... now I'm starting to get excited! Now it's becoming real!
