My 2001 28' Pantera has a 540cid @ 651hp. Merc labbed 26P Bravo I hasn't broken the 73 mph mark. However it's a little under propped. I like to try a 28p

One thing I have learned over the years is that no two hulls seem to be exactly the same. Your engine dyno hp looks close to mine but not all dyno's are the same either.

Who is doing your prop work? I found alot of mph once I got the prop right.

I would think that my 2007 is most likely a little lighter that your 2001 also and that is worth a few mph.

Morgan

My 1996 ran very similar numbers (mid 70s) with a little over 650hp and a touched up Bravo 26p.

Mercury labbed it. I need a 28. Even with a full tank and two people it bounces off the limiter. Time for some tuning.

Dude, Did you ever test it with the 800hp 565" motor or am I thinking of Tomcei's Pantera?

Rick give Trenton Marine a call (609)394-2861 and see if they still have demo props to try.
