Any 28's forsale around Mi.
 

I have a deal working on my boat and I was thinking about possibly getting a 28' Pantera. I was wondering if any were available around the Great lakes area.

Nothing that i know of in anywhere near mi.... a few 24s are for sale that about it.

There are two at bills boat works in buffalo ny , they are on boattrader

Maybe I can talk him to upgrading to a Phantom! :drink:

i wouldnt call it an up grade? nothing beats the styling of a 28 pantera

This boat ran upper 70's with 520hp Available with 510"/560hp (dyno tune picked up 40hp), 489"/695hp or of course with custom power if you wish. Cabin getting carpet tomorrow and trailer getting rims as well.

Must be a pretty good boat if you can't find any used ones!

I liked them a lot, bought a Saber though because I liked it just a little bit better. They can be had, most of them are out east or in the south, was one for sale in the Chicago area but I believe it is gone, one in Ohio somewhere. If you want one you will have to travel. Oh, and for some reason a lot of the recent sold 28's have gone overseas, big demand there/weak dollar probably the cause.

Hotjava - did you get your trailer sorted out? Still up for a trade if you want a shorter triple. Swapping to mag aluminum wheels now, should have that done by the weekend.

yeah, I bought a new one, the guy that brokered my boat has the old trailer for sale for me over on the west side.

Got a link for the old one? My boat is light enough the triple is an overkill. What brand did you go with?

How much is your old trailer for sale for? Do you have a link?

Had a new manning built. im not sure where he has the old one listed, check craiglist grand rapids/grand haven.

28 pantera at N/L came to the uk not because of weak $ but just fantastic boats. l:drink:

I believe this boat is up at torch lake every year for the holidays... pretty sharp boat... I almost went for a pantera but ended up with Powerquest 290- good luck with your hunt!

That is CMI's new line of PVC mufflers :lolhit: I'm sure it was just a cheap fix for donkey diks to cut down on noise........

im was so embaressed to hang pvc off the back of my pantera but regular (donkey dik) down turns wouldnt work because of the steering rams. the puddle pigs on the lakes i usually run were stopping me twice a day so it had to be done.

I was just bustin balls man :drink: As long as it gets the job done. Now that you have found the angles you need I'm sure any decent fabricator could make them up at a fair price....
