Forgot all about this thread . Talk about one thing leading to another and another and another . I wound up finding a rotten transom so I replaced it then I built a set of core reinforced stringers and put them in ,and all new bulk heads . So then I decided I didn't want the classic look and started designing a new top deck and we are now turning my old deck into a plug . It will be the first poker run 24 Pantera . We will be able to build and install these new decks for anyone with a 24/7 in either carbon fiber or fiberglass .
We now own a set of molds and will be building 26/7's stepped and notched with our poker run top decks on them so I'm gonna finish the Pantera , run it and then sell it .
In the end I lost 800lbs , went from 565hp to 750 and lost the TRS with tranny and put a surface drive on it so I don't think breaking a hundred is gonna be a problem . However I cant very well keep a 24 Pantera when Im gonna be building , endorsing and selling my own brand ...
I will definitely post an update as soon as I run it !

Some pictures would be very nice!
Have a simular project on going. Since we bought the molds for the Mark Schnepf 27 Activator we are now up to doing the plug for a 28 seamless cockpit boat and also a seamless 28 open.
The mold now have the twin step inlay from the 30 Rage/Activator.
We are right now doing 2 classic deck 27's for race our national class.
When I say "we" - I'm just a partner in it. I do not doing any of the building job. But I know how I wan't it
The first 28 cockpit boat will be rigged with a Mercury 800EFI and ITS XR Sportmaster.

I have a full time fiberglas technician on staff working very hard to finish all of our molds before we put any into production .
I'm gonna do some homework and see if I can do an Ilmor MV8 in our first turn key boat .
