Looks like mine floor to top of the side gunwale is 33" Appears a sit down is possible, but the angle of the dash would be way off. This might have to be a winter project to figure out whats best.
Still cant get over the odd feeling of standing in a boat thats only waist high. Feel like I'm gonna fall out even will its sitting on the trailer :lolhit: |

I love the setup I did on mine. Two sit-down race bolsters with a console in the middle. I didn't raise the floor as I put the seats on 7 1/2 inches High bracket. I can see perfect and the boat looks really slick. the console is 15 inchess high, 14 inches wide and 44 inches long. If you have any question let ms know good luck

I welcome any and all pics. Heading to the shop now to see what the heck I ended up with

Feel like I'm gonna fall out even will its sitting on the trailer :lolhit: Raced many 24's that way w/o any problems and I am 5' 11" Hell I went from Miami to New York in a 24' standing up and felt fine. If you are 6'5" and stand straight up you definetely have a problem BUT even if you lay back against the bolster its much better. pepe. PS, Remember that there were many 27' and 28' Magnums and 28' Cigarettes w/ the low freeboard. Nobody complained. Back then racing sitting down in a boat used to be a no-no! |
