Going to shoot the deck today. I shot the sealer yesterday and it laid down nice and smooth.
This painting business is no joke! LOTS of man hours spent on this step.

In the meanwhile, I ordered this custom made dry sump oil pan. 4 scavaging pickups feeding a barnes pump.
-12 AN males welded in, two pickup ports on each pan rail.

I'll post pics later after the paint goes on the deck.

Have a good day all,
Rob

what are you doing for engine bay vents? I have the ones on the back but they suck in all the salt spray and it corrodes everything

The "windshield" masked off for paint:

I have the downward facing "clamshell" vents that are typical of these hulls as well.

Don't you have them ducted down to the lower bilge?

No, i didnt know they were supposed to be.

What width did you end up going with on your stringers? Is there a standard width for offshore mounts or is it different depending on the mount? ( i assume it would be)

I have a line on stock 525 offshore mount, trying to figure out the width to glass the stringers in. Im sure you did your research on this so any help is appreciated. I should probably just buy the mount and see how it fits.

Hey sparky.
I'll measure the stringers and report back.
