Thanks Pete!
I've been gathering parts and working on "sub assemblies" for awhile now. I'm really hoping to have this old girl in the drink this year.

When I bought the project, I figured 5 years, and September will be just that. Time will tell.

He posted a few posts above you.

The weather was nice in the workshop this past weekend, so I started back up on the teak floor.
These pics show the "dry" fitment, spacing and screw clamps. The boards are taped off to try to mitigate the mess. The different colors of masking tape don't mean anything, just what o had on hand:

I mixed up some epoxy resin, 404 adhesive filler and graphite and glued down the first 4 boards on the starboard side last night. Hopefully this week I'll have the rest glued and grouted in place. The perimeter will be black 4200 to allow some flex.

Last night I started to hillbilly machine up a coil bracket to mount the coil on the rear of the starboard head. It's 6061 1/4" plate stock:

Also, I made a "mock up" of the stringer so we could articulate the oil pump and get a belt length and make sure the -16 return lines cleared the stringer:
