Great ride & choice..!! I've always thought that was a great looking boat and attempted a short effort to track that same boat down several years ago myself

Amen, from an ole redneck boy who's traveled the road himself.. On a total side note I gotta say that Ironman Chris was a total class act to deal with a while back, and I hope the ole gal is doing well !! As for the great state of TN, Chris (duunoit) and I have been addicts for a while now & we are glad to pass the torch, curse & disease on for a little while,... haha !!!

That is not Cherry Bomb.

Fred Cecil aka Trick Marine purchased the boat from a dealer in 2001 or so. If I remember correctly, I don't think it had ever been wet before he bought it.
It had new interior from Pantera and the dealer rigged it with some older engines. Fred had it for less than a year and put it up for sale.
It was for sale for about a week and I inquired about it and was told there was a deal pending.
Bruce--OSO screen name "Thirsty Turtle" bought it from Fred Cecil and has owned it ever since. He had the 502mpi's installed.

Griff has the history correct.

I ran the 330 hp carb 454's for the 2002 summer, but was always futzing with them. The 502 MPI's had 80 hrs on them, and came out of a 34 Eliminator in TX. Some friends and I did the engine R&R over a weekend in September 2002 and never looked back. The 502's really woke up the boat and have been turn key reliable.

88bullet has a folder with documents begining with the Pantera MSO, the rigging dealer, the previous owner, and myself.

We originally were looking for a 24. When we saw the ad for this 28 we thought, that's our weapon!

Ironically, we drove 15+ hours to get this boat out of South Carolina and back to MN

88bullet, bummer you couldn't meet my wife while you were here. After hearing that you have the boat in heated storage she thinks you are a good egg, and the boat will like you better because you are already treating her better than we did.

LOL she is tucked away in heated storage as of last night. got the full cover on it to keep the dust out. this is gonna be a long winter thats for sure. a friend of mine took a road trip this wekend like me to go pick up a 38 fountain in virginia. we can drink beers and snowmobile and talk about how great a summer we are going to have next year lol. i think im gonna put some exhaust on it just gil's or something like that, a swim platform, trim indicators and maybe external steering for next year. it runs real nice so we will stick with this set up for a little bit.

10 more months til lake cumberland!!
