From: west palm beach FL,
that's a great speed for that boat , just remember that JO will get every last mph out of that boat and it won't be a everyday top speed once you have some fuel and equipment in the boat .
but the good thing is with that speed you should be able to run very close to 80mph all the time
Have fun, but be careful out there in the water

The weather was really bad all day today. Had a hard time getting a good run in the bay with light rain hitting me in the face but got it up to 81.8 MPH with 3/4 tank of fuel bumping the rev limiter at 5450 RPM with the biggest prop I had which was a 30 pitch Hydromotive 4 blade that was labbed. We are at 18 - 19 % slip with this prop but it handles awesome in rough water.Real confused 3-5 footers today out in the ocean and we could run 70 plus on GPS with 3 on board and 3/4 fuel.
Brett at B-Blades is going to do a custom 32' pitch Bravo 1 which should get us to 5300 RPM and slip in the 15 % range and his calculation is 87-88 MPH on GPS. I am confident it will do it soon.
Might try to go out one more time this week before the boat heads up North.
Mark, I am glad you and your wife really enjoyed the boat today.

Thanks guys,
It was worth the wait. I wish I lived down here and could boat year round with you guys.
P.S. Jo Please wash all the salt off my boat before the rust eats it up. Haha
