Just kidding about the fish. I am ordering a depth transducer for my garmin gps and I have the option of or transom mount and in hull mount. I would like to do the in hull for obvious reason but it says not for cored hulls. I searched the forum and found a thread that says it will and another thread talks about coring a hole and filling it with epoxy then mounting which I do not want to do. I guess my real question is the hull solid or cored?

Your lucky day then because your 28 is not cored . Watch the 28 video Jo just put up on youtube and it has a good shot of where he just placed the transducer in that 28 ..
