-8 is half inch right? Bc I'm starving mine for fuel I hit 5000 for a couple seconds then she acts as if sucking air... I'm running to electric fuel pumps with psi right bf carb at 11 psi at idle...

3/8 line will support 502 / 500HP with a mechanical pump as long as the filter head has the larger lines. I am not sure on the electric pump systems

how big is the fitting at your tank?? your only gonna flow as much as your smallest hole will allow. you can have 2" fuel lines but only a 3/8's pickup and tank fitting and your just pissing in the wind. Alot of people overlook that part of it

I have 2 electric pumps one holly red and another I don't know name came on motor but boat has never ran wot wo fuel hesitantation w both pumps running combined.. It runs up to 5000 rpm and then drops then pulls

Dash that way you'll know for sure if your leaning
Out the motor or not, also a 496 efi will not go past 5000
Rpm unless you get your ecu remapped by mercury racing

Since my previous pics in this thread here's a few again.
This is what the bottom looked like when the pad was modified. The plan was to sand it to get the correct finish but the papers just clogged so I skipped it - at that time.
