They really aren't haters of the Pantera brand, they have all agreed at one time or another that Pantera builds one of the best offshore 28 foot wave crushers on the market....And I haven't seen anyone complaining about their build quality and attention to detail...these boats are over built to withstand any type of conditions thrown at it... I think most will agree the haters just don't agree with how the business is run.

now with my boat being 95% complete, the potential buyer has many options, and I really can't see why having it at the factory is such a thorn in so many people's side... It is there and that's where it is staying until I get it complete or until someone wants a great deal on a new Pantera 28 SR with no wait time to speak of... Isn't everyone's biggest complaint about Pantera the delays in the delivery process....Well I guess I helped to take that out of the equation. And if the potential buyer goes to the factory they can stock up on some Pantera swag....!!!!!

boat manufacturer here in Florida either go out of business or sell

There built hard to ride hard I have two of them and personally know

How well built do you really think these last few boats are made by Pantera before they go under for good? Did they use nails to hold it together? Skimp on this or that? If they have no money to finish the boat they already got paid to build......so which comes first? Dinner on the table for the kids......or stainless steel staples vs steel staples to hold the vinyl.

Underload, I have owned 2 Pantera Boats and my current one is a 2005 28 with a Keith Eckert 540-Blower Motor... I will agree that they are well Built and can handle the Rough Stuff with the best of them, but let me Inform You that Pantera has made many Promises to me which None have been Made Good... Bottom Line is that Scott's Boat should have been Finished a Very Long Time Ago and to make things even worse that Boat was Paid For In Full... Pantera has No Excuse for what they did to Scott... I can go on and on with story after story, but if that is really needed then what you need to do next is to give Somebody $100K or More of your Money and when you Do Not Receive your Product lets see how you feel... Scott is the Only Person that is Getting Screwed on this Deal and No Body should forget that...

Actually....I did have an engine(s) issue with the last builder, but I moved on and used a new builder with three new engines. Thanks for asking. The Sunseeker is amazing I hope you go boating again some time.

Banks wouldn't knowingly finance something that today isn't actually a boat.After all ,you can't operate it.

While your in a happy mood & have everyones interested, how about telling the complete Pantera story concerning this powerboat.

Pantera 28, first of all just want to say good luck in your sale, and sorry for your bad luck with Pantera. I've read every thread from Berks mess to 10 years ago were it was happening then as well.

I just have a few questions..

1. Would you be selling if the boat was complete.

2. Are you taking a 10k loss

3. Have you looked into any legal course/action

4. When all said and done would you recommend anyone to buy a new boat fom them.


And last, How are you still ok with the Pantera knowing you paid them in full to compete a job and now you are left to deal with it, I'm sure your paying interest on your loan so the amount out of pocket has to be rising daily.

I have to commend you on your composure with them, and with all the negative feed back you have been getting on here.

I have read so many threads on here, and have learned that this oso family is super tight and wish for no one to get taken from any boat builder, mechanic, part seller etc, ive seen mysterys unraveled on here where the good guy turned out to be the villain and with out all of these guys it would have gone unnoticed ! I don't think it's a personal attack on you, just some guys who have been around a long time and have read and seen it all.

I hope your sale goes smoothly and both party's are happy with the transaction!
