When I asked about buying an empty hull I was told they would not sell them, this was back in 2008 or 2009 when I was at the factory. Guess things change over time. I think a b1 will hold, depends on driver though. I have seen customers with stock power and couldn't keep them from breaking when I was working at a marina. Good luck, I would love to get an empty 28 to build

Yeah Just sold it yesterday the new owner is saids he was goin to put some Mercury racing 2.5 outboards the he has should run nice, but he's considering inboards after seeing my new 28SR at my shop.
