They look absolutly awesome in person... You can't get the feel or the cool factor out of some of the pictures shown... But they do look very coo in person...l especially with the steps underneath and the lights running down the sides...!!

They probably do weaken the hull by increasing possible stress points. Kind of a strange feature for boats that have a reputation forhandling the rough stuff. I like the non-recessed hull better too.

Def has a WOW factor....kinda reminds me of a lambo or corvette recessed body panels. It's just a bit too busy for me
I'd be happy either way.....

Simple engineering ! The step actually makes it stronger and more ridged . If you don't like it , you don't like it ! But it is stronger ..

I'd say it depends upon the direction of the stress forces on the hull. If the forces are vertical in that area, a sharp angle may not be ideal.

I was gonna cut your sides and make the first 24R when we restored your boat , Now I know how you feel I'm glad I didn't !
