Transom is done and so are the stringers! Passed by to see pepe this morning and he's going to rent me the template and I'm going to be cutting the hole myself. More pics as I move along, I will probably be sanding the sides tmm as soon as I take off the rub rail

Jamie, the building is a bit smaller than the previous one but they did have a few boats in there going through the process so I believe they're still producing their same beautiful boats

Looks nice, you could probably get some lower profile new style hatches for it.

OCCJoe 04-02-2013 04:00 PM

I don't like the hatches myself , Couldn't wait to get rid of mine but the only one I ever saw that I liked was when littleshopofhorror did his Pantera and put that flush mounted painted to match hatch in

sparky24 04-02-2013 06:32 PM

Does anyone know what x dimension is best for TRS? and where to get a jig

Yup, went with closing up the hatches! I think I'm going to like it, it's going to look plain but long and sleek which is what I'm looking for. I think I might have to do some type of bow rail though.

This is where I'm at now on closing the hatches and then throwing a matte on the deck to get rid of the old cracks and all the other little things. Have work tmm but ill be back at it on thursday and friday

No hatches... good choice. going to look sleeker for sure.
You really going to be spending time down there where you'll want the ventilation?

I agree on the bowrail, if you want the newer look, mine is off of a Baja, not sure what size as it came from Ebay.
