Pretty much done stripping. Looking to soda blast this stuff this week and if I can get some painting done, start some sort of assembly next weekend. I also started stripping teak for refinishing, I'll get some photos when I get farther along.

Nice job, what kind of stripper did you use?

JASCO, I have only found it at Lowes. Gold and red can $30 per gallon. It's the hottest commercially available I have found. stripped the teak no problem. I'm using Sikkens clear teak stain then automotive clear.

Also got some soda blasting done today. Hope to start priming gimble and outdrive tomorrow night if all goes well. I'll get pics of that stuff tomorrow.

Teak items just a tad further along.

Had a little setback on a couple parts for painting, inner gimble ring had been sitting and the steel dipstick tube was rusty so I gotta re-blast that. I did however acid wash a couple parts and start priming.

Oh and you can see in the above picture that I reshaped the skeg on the prop side as it was busted off and jagged as $hit.
Then on to some primer, happy to be making a little progress for sure. I ordered a bunch of new hardware for the drive assembly this week like bellows trim indicators and some hardware, not sure if it will be here this week but I have plenty to do either way.

I post the pictures when I screw up too. I'm not a painter and I screwed up last night, just too heavy on the second coat I couldn't get the gun to spray a nice fine mist and was trying to get it laid down. Color match is perfect I'm doing everything in flat red and flat silver.

Last of the primer done today. Hope to have it all red tomorrow. Also started cleaning up the interior for reassembly.
