Default 24 exhaust holes

I am getting ready to cut my new transom for the exhaust hole on my 24 sport and I want to do the standard bravo placement. Any one have any measurements for factory exhaust placement? I am using cmi e top and teague 4.5" tips. I don't have far from the back of the header to the transom but I want to make sure I can swap motor and exhaust without haveing to close up exhaust holes to re drill.

Every boat is different due to drive placement. Don't try and cut holes like everyone else. Wait till your headers are in place and mark them accordingly. If you precut based on others you might wind up having to get some expensive custom turndown's made

Hardin Marine had a Bravo exhaust template somewhere on their website. All measurements were from the Bravo transom unit.

This is perfect, not sure why this would not come with my new transom assembly. I am hoping to get the wire harness switched over to the newer style merc pug this weekend. I'm going to need some before pictures, it's been a while since it was a one piece boat.

I would definitely mark the exhaust holes in pencil, bolt on your E-Tops and triple check before cutting.

that template says merc standard exh holes. implies merc standard manifolds-risers. also shows diff holes for alpha and bravo. but they use same inner location. it is PROBABLY the diff between small and big block exhaust locations. but i think this template does you no good.
