On a 24' Pantera, what year did the deck change from a V shaped windshield, to a flat-straight across windscreen? Just curious?

All the flat fairings/windscreens are on sports, and the V fairing/windscreen are on SE's.
I believe they started building SE's started in the late 70s, in addition to still making the sports.
You are able to order it either way. There was never a change from one to the other.

Stormrider is right on. Two different decks. The Sport like mine has a crawl up space below deck large enough for two adults to get out of the weather and a lot of storage room. The SE has a small cuddy cabin with entrance way door that is laid out in traditional go fast style.

Thanks for the responses. My friend has a 24 with the V windshield.
The HIN number is on a metal plate on the transom. I think this is odd. This made me wonder what year the boat was built (I don't trust the metal plate HIN #)

Why are some Pantera's engraved in the hull, and some (like my friend's) are on a metal plate over where the HIN number should be? This is a pleasure boat.
My race boat (Not a Pantera, is a 1993 hull) does NOT have a metal plate-it is engraved just like a pleasure boat.
Just attempting to clarify "why".Thanks for your responses.
