Yes. It's dales aka bigboat28 First 28. He made the boat what it is including power, steering and paint. I talked to the current owner. Who is a really nice and honest guy. He has a few videos of the boat of you search his name on youtube. Main issue now is the starboard engine had developed a erratic tick from the upper valve train.
If I could find a buyer for my f1, I would buy the 99. Also second thing about a 1999 is no kbb or nada value. So bank loan will be hard to obtain.

Went down with cash and a trailer to find a boat with a broken and rotted stringer. Loved the boat and great guy but lots of things going on with it. Anyone know of any other 28's?

The stringers under the port engine have a crack in them.

There is only one stringer under each engine on that boat, is it the low one that runs in between the middle stringer and the outer stringer the motor is mounted to? Any damage to the hull bottom? Or is it the small stringer and the one the engine is mounted to as in both are broke?

I can't say for sure. I saw a video and it looked like 2 separate cracks on different stringers. They were close up shots so it was tough to tell.
