Seems like none of you besides OCCJOE really know what's going on. I have no intrest in the company or anything but it sucks for people to bash without knowing the FACTS which is nothing that yall have mentioned nor is it my position to bring up. Just know the fact be4 talking. That's how rumors starts and that's why OSO has become what it has become and and it's nothing like it was before.

As I said in another thread the Nuez family is going through some personal health issues . I hope when this certain person is better they will start building boats again .
That being said , I believe in the Pantera brand and like most people I believe in the quality of the boats . I however do not care for their business practices and I know for a fact they owe a lot of people money including several of my friends (Wylie-Rat) . There's no way they could every pay any of these people back . You can blame the court system for that . Not just with Pantera but with any business that does someone wrong . If a business is not forced to pay judgement and they are aloud to change names and ownership to avoid paying then people for years to come will be done wrong .
I like Jo , Pepe, and Linda on a personal level but then again the business I did with them went well .But I didn't give them a deposit for a boat either . The last time I heard from Jo and Pepe was when they called me up and bi+ched me out for voicing my opinion on OSO . So even though I have said good and bad about them I don't think they have any love for me . I do pray for them to pull through their currant situation and return to the business .
In the end what I would love to see and yes this is harsh but I think its time for Pepe and Linda to retire and start enjoying some of that Florida sunshine . Jo needs to hire a financial business manager to manage the funds and build schedule . Then hire a very minimal crew to help with layup and then just take one boat at a time . With power, hardware, and upholstery costing approximately 60K for a 28 single its very hard to not fall into the robbing Peter to pay Paul syndrome . I'll bet there's not one member on OSO that could come up with a build schedule that would allow a boat to be built without a bank backing you , without being paid in full before boat is finished , or without using your next customers deposit to complete the last boat .
Now take two peoples hands out of the pot and the build funds have a little bit better chance of being used to complete boat and not being used to live on .
Just my 2cents . Maybe I know nothing . Maybe I know nothing about the situation . But a lot of people know the truth about how business was conducted in the past and a lot of people run their mouths and have no real knowledge of what has happen .
Peace !

Fvck Symphony! But I don't want the Pantera boats to be done being built no more then I wanted to see fountains stop building without reggie or Outerlimits without Mike. .
I have a Superboat and I'm worried what happens to them when Coan is to old to build, Activator fell when Angelo died.
The way it's going there will be no custom builders left

Jo has passed away due to a battle with cancer....I don't think we'll see Pantera back in business any time soon or if at all unless it comes under new ownership.

I hope those with not so complimentary opinions about the Nunez's can give it a rest for a while. Also any talk about selling off the business. Pepe and Linda lost their only son. many of us here are friends of the family....Good friends. I lost my friend last week....not a guy who builds boats, but a friend. Many others I imagine feel the same way about Jo and his family....good bad or indifferent I ask that we all show a bit of decorum until the shock passes. This loss has rocked the Nunez's family.....
