I am hoping that Jo or Pepe have some older photos of it. That ribbon graphic was popular back in the day. I t was partially removed from the port side when I got the boat and I wanted the all blue and more classic offshore look hence the change. chris |

I think Pepe needs to grow his hair out again and a longer beard! he looks like a badazz in these classic pics .... even if its grey now there's always "Just for men" !!
Ask anybody who was here @ the time. Pepe is an old man now,(58 y/o) his biggest thrill in life is to watch his 2 1/2 y/o bad ass grandson suit up in his race gear to ride his 50cc Kawasaki @ the track. Yes, it has been an exciting ride, thanks God for the Ms. pp that has been by my side since I was 16 y/o, hell I have been married almost 40 years to this lady, which some of you have met in person. She is quite a lady. Not to mention a great son and daughter. pp. PS, Rocky Aoki (Benihana) told me once: "if you are scared of dying, you are scared of living!". So very true. .........and now, you know the rest of the story.... |

Here is a 1978 SE 24' that went up to the North East. The gentelman driving in the picture was paralyzed from the waist down. My Father picked him up and carried him onto the boat so he could take the wheel. He was thrilled !!! The boat was built for his 15 year old grandson.

This pic. was taken in 1976 Miami offshore race. Race was called off half way thru the race because of a closing Hurricane and most racer's getting lost on the way to the Florida Key's. My Father was in this Pantera 24' and was sponsored by TV 6 "The perfect getaway".
There was a race boat taken on water so a helicopter was sent out to look for the boat and the helicopter went down. Then a 2nd Helicopter was sent to look for the 1st helicopter and the 2nd helicopter also went down. NO MORE HELICOPTERS WERE SENT AFTER THAT.:p |
I love it.
This takes me back to Ft Lauderdale in the late 70's. That's when I caught the bug. Man, how I'd like to get a hold of that "fair and white" 36 |
