36ft survivors?
How many of the survivors were built? Does anyone on here own one? Looks like a sweet boat and heard it runs like crazy.
|
Only a hand full were built. I would say less than 6? Friend of mine in MI recently bought the all blue with silver and green tribal. Twin 525 boat.
|
Oh wow no wonder you don't see any for sale or around

Boat got run really hard by the first owner but it was a deal when National sold it, think it sold in the mid 50's |
I would say the White "Survivor" was hull #1 (now in Europé with yellow paint scheme)
#2 Blue/Triblal #3 White boat with blue details, 496's #4 Duckys 525's side by side #5 Duckys 525's staggered #6 Puerto Rico, race boat, The White Survivor is also a straight bottom 36. Maybe the Pantera 35 Race boat was the #2 hull that was made in the 36 mold. I can be very wrong with this - time flies and my Pantera memory is Little faded :D |

Mange I think your right on the money them.I bought the 09 side by side from Duckys last year. The staggered one was rigged by Checkmate.
Also did they have the staggered boat still? You can tell a major difference between the pantera rigged boat and checkmate... I like how they say Outerlimits on the ad. haha Also found this one too? http://panteraboats.com/ownersgaller...ID=151&page=13 Thanks for all talking about the boat i wanted to upgrade to. |

That boat was hull #1 (step bottom) and was a spec boat for Hideaway marina. When it got delivered they immediately decided to shoot it with the tribal paint scheme to cover up the wavy gelcoat......you needed dramamine tablets to look down the hullsides! :picard1:
Boat got run really hard by the first owner but it was a deal when National sold it, think it sold in the mid 50's Hawkeye boats in Iowa bought it after it was repo'd and went through most of the stuff on the boat and then sold it. The next owner had it at LOTO a lot and I saw it and talked to him at least a few times a year. He sold it last year I believe. |
^^^^^ this one now resides in Michigan. I have spoken to the current owner as he got his crew shirts with my same guy.

Really nice looking boats!
|
YA I LIKE THE SILVER AND GREEN they layed over the blue. Kyle better yet let him drive your boat, maybe get some 36 drive time. good luck
|
Man that blue 36 sure has gotten around. It spent some time up here in Minnesota around 09. Gene the owner was a regular to our poker runs. You can see it in the link about 1:30 into the video.

I guess I have been sleeping on the boards... I am the current owner of the 2006. The boat has definitely seen use but you know what? That's what they are built for, at least the Panteras are! Between the original owner, the transition with Hawkeye and Gene (The previous owner) the boat has seen some wear and abuse. More travel on the trailer wear than anything.... The boat will be getting painted within the next few years to bring it back to life, will most likely keep the blue/silver/green but going to change up the design a tad. Mine is powered by 525/XR and she runs. On flat water 81 is the best I have ever seen. Kick it up with chop and get that hull working and she touches 90... JO said 93/94 was the best, in the right conditions, brand new engines, in the salt... I am cool with 90. I see some bigger power in her future anyways and hopefully into the triple digits :)
I absolutely love the boat, ride is awesome, the lines are awesome... Ran Boyne Thunder this year and was very impressed.... second half of the poker run was consistent 3 footers with the occasional 4. I was running running right through it.... A buddy of mine is taking a boating break (and not by his choice). Some thieves decided they wanted some hardware off his 2009 36 Survivor more than he did... I will let him chime in on it in more detail if he wishes to. Our two boats were together in Michigan back in June for the infamous Jobbie Nooner!!! Probably the first time two 36 Survivors have been run together by different owners (outside of at the factory). |
Here is us running from Elk Rapids to Northport at Boyne Thunder (Card stop 1 and 2) Canopy OL passing us up!

IS that the same owner of Pipe Dream as the Pipe Dream (34 Phantom)?
|

Pretty sure ducky’s still has it for sale. Atleast still listed on their website. They usually are within 6 months of being current 2010 Pantera 36 ? Duckys Boats in Middletown, Pennsylvania - Duckys Boats |
36 surviver
Ducky's still has the 36 with the staggered motors. I just purchased the 08 with the twin 496's. We owned 2- 28 Panteras and still have a 2001. I have been in the blue one and the 2009 survivor. Ran in some pretty ruff water and the boats didin't skip a beat.

Where do you boat?
|
Come out of middle river, Chesapeake Bay, Maryland

Yes, I got it from Robert Venditti. His dad has not been doing so well. The boat has been in Port Deposit. I Believe you are in the same boatel where my dad and I keep our 28 pantera. I saw your boat on the rack. I'm probably going to move the boat to Middle river the end of April.
I was down in Miami with Tom Cook from Ducky's a couple times when Joey took us out on the 36 Survivor. He had us in some of the biggest water I was ever in and I could not believe the ride. One thing I do plan to do is get rid of the wrap on the boat. I'm not a fan of the big panther on the side of the boat. |
