Reading all these threads the past few years, one thing I think most can agree on is that the Pantera boats were for the most part well constructed when completed. Huge problem was extremely shady business practices about how, when and if ever the money was spent or collected from customers and suppliers. The only way to regain the respect of the boating community would be to build and complete about a half dozen boats from 28' to 36' and then put them on a floor plan so that a customer would be able to buy a completed vessel w/o the worry of getting in balls deep and becoming just another victim. Only then can the "Pantera" brand be returned to being considered a respected builder.

Even Fountain which is recovering and part of a somewhat stable corporation hasn't started to produce new boats without buyers so for Pantera to do this is a reach. Pantera has found their niche selling tee shirts and hoodies via their F.B. page.

I don't think Pepe is actually laying fiberglass, I would think he is supervising the build process just like he did back in 2005 when my 28 was built , And I would think age doesn't matter when supervising , While im stating my OPINION, I would also say that I think they should have the hull , deck and fuel tank's in the boat , and sale ready to rig , Like other's have said including myself he builds a strong boat just not that business savy .

built 2 boats in 10 years , bankrupt , 40 year old design should be a hot seller in todays market. congrats to the first buyer https://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/...cons/icon6.gif would you accept bitcoin as payment??

Gotta say this. That 40 year old design is still kicking A$$. A 24x7 stepped superboat wasn't liked by many. The 28 is hard to beat. Can run almost as good as a lot of SVLs in rough water. And smoke them in the turns. Nothing like staying trimmed up in the corners and waiting to spin it out. The 36 can go up against anything in the class. Staggered. Looks good. Goes good.
So where's the problem with Pantera except for how they handled there money when times got tough.
You can bust Pepe. But you can't bust his boats.

There is a bunch of similar looking molds out there I dont see what the big deal is,is not like we are talking about a cig or apache, just another miami Cuban made boat, any Cuban down here would build you one just make sure to pay after the boat is done lmao

For a small fee there's probably a Pantera owner willing to let someone splash a new mold off their good hull while it's stored over the winter.
