So is the new mold owner the lawyer that was disbarred for "importing" large quantities of marijuana and cocaine?? I mean, could you write a better story than South Florida boat company goes belly up, convicted drug smuggler buys molds for a song and puts his buddy, the bankrupt boat builder back in business.... Do things down there in Florida ever change?? I hope somebody is taking notes, Might make a good episode if they get around to rebooting the Miami Vice series....

One problem I see is everyone behind a computer screen jumps to conclusions and speculations. I have looked at both threads closely! neither thread says anything about Blackjack buying the molds for Pepe to start up building again. it just says he knows Pepe. Which makes sence because he use to race a Pantera back in the day. Now if he did buy 2 molds since in one thread he has claim to the 28 molds anyways and decided to let Pepe build the boats again that is his choice. everyone claims greasy this slimmy that about Pepe I don't knw him from Adam but everyone goes thru hard time EVERYONE!!!! and the loss of a child I couldn't even imagine so maybe, I don't know the whole story but maybe this Berk guy got screwed but from what I hear thru many is he was offered a fair way out but decided to put Pepe out of business instead. that was his choice to do and anyone with half a brain knows molds don't sell for $600,000 even if there brand new. for $600,000 you could build all new molds and probably pop new boats out of each !!! I spent about 3 hr's on the phone with Blackjack the other day and I cn tell you this he is a nice older gentleman who from what I could tell is more concerned about the history and the legacy than he is about building boats. something was said about drug running hey if he wasn't caught it didn't happen. if he did get caught and served his time done deal. Honestly How many people can say that they never did some kind of drug deal in there life weather it be handing your friend one to buying it for yourself. I would bet not many can say they never have how do I know this the laws wouldn't be getting passed to legalize it.. I'm not here sticking up for anybody or bashing anyone. the point I am making is this until you lived Pepe's life you can jump to conclusions all you like even if there are facts you probably don't know the whole story only Pepe does. If pepe Builds a new Pantera more power to him learn from mistakes and move forward. there's nothing wrong with that. People do it all the time. Heck I know of a guy who build a million dollar house on credit cards for his mother. filled bankruptsy on the credit cards then sold the house to get the money started a few businesses and bought a few properties all in others family members names so that he could do it again in 10 years. you do not become rich in America with out a little dishonesty they system is designed to not allow it. So if Pepe builds new ones more power to him !!!!

I didn't say it was me I said I know of someone. I personally don't agree with it. But people do it I know of another guy I Met in Michigan when I lived there he owned a few subway stores and other businesses lived in public housing lived off the state thru his wife stating they were separated and would take his personal jet to vegas all the time. like I said People do it I don't but others do.
