Default Getting a new Lower with questions

So I pulled my xr lower off for service a couple weeks ago, found out the vertical shaft bearing failed and wiped out my gears and the case won’t receive a new bearing. So since I needed a new case I decided to go with a Teague Platinum lower to mate up to my scx upper.

I have a 28’ Pantera single 598/800. The xr lower had a 1” spacer and with drive in neutral trim position iprop shaft was 4.5” below hull. also has a quad IVX 26 prop.

So my question is, with the imco lower, and me wanting to go a labbed 28 bravo which is bigger OD than the hydro, should I add the 1” spacer back in or take it out?

Anyone with a Pantera non step pleasure to give some advise? I’m running about 5600 WOT and thinking taking the spacer out might net me some rpm gain.

I have a 2000 Pantera pleasure set up with a stock bravo one. I run a bravo 24 pitch with a 545 hp engine. The prop really slips from 3000-4000 rpms (I forget the mph at those rpms). Jason at MDG tried a labbed bravo 26 and another prop with similar results. Conclusion was that maybe I need a 1 inch spacer. I am still running the bravo 24 that came from Pantera and debating on adding a 1in spacer.
