I just bought an empty Pantera 24 hull. I did get K-planes and dual ram IMCO steering along with an early Bravo XR with a Sportmaster lower (std length) included in the purchase (on a pallet for now.)
I have a carbed 502 which delivers somewhere around 450-475 hp. Should be a good match for the needs I have.
Now, about the boat: I believe to have seen it in a post from around 2007 in the Pantera pics thread, FL registration. The black vents and windscreen frame are only Plasti-dip. They are white originally, so are the nav lights.
Anyone able to confirm the year? There is an 85 in the hull number (M85G), hence my assumption on the year. The number starts with WCW, the PIN plate is riveted on.
Hull appear to have been painted.
Interior has been replaced.
Anyone know if history, previous owners, anything?
Thanks in advance for any info that may be provided.
The boat now resides in south Sweden after some 15 year in the Stockholm area after it was imported.

From: Newport Coast, California.
Fred, I think the ex. owner's name was actually Kirk. He used to work for Elite Marine in Antioch, IL. If it is, he now runs a 39' MTI.
Here's his info. Best of luck. Good to see another Pantera that found its way to Sverige way back.

Lars, thanks a lot for the info. I will try to reach Kirk. It is an old boat but I appreciate the classic lines and racing history of Pantera. Needs some finish work and probably a new fuel tank for next season.
