The asking price is $48,300 and I encourage offers. Like said before, check this boat out. I am very motivated. If more detailed pictures are desired of any part of the boat, please let me know. I will answer any questions you have.

Thank-You

How many Panteras did Performance marine do? I'm glad Jo no longer sells bare hulls. I hate to see someone butcher his increadable work.

Hey Guys,

There was (6 or 7) 24 and 28 hull and decks sold to Bill Dahl in Peoria in the early to mid 90s.The majority were 24s and the two 28s are owned by members of this forum.Gary M also owned a 24 Sport purchased from Bill and now owns a 2003 24 Sport with a single 250 Yamaha outboard purchased from me this past year.

regards,

JO

Wow, thanks for the heads up. So if someone was to give you a VIN you would be able to tell if it you rigged the boat or not???

Well, Fred, if everything was so bad then you(who claim to know how to buy a used boat) should be happy to tell all of us why you bought that boat. Because if my memory serves me correctly you got the better end of the deal. You were also more than taken care of.

In the end, it's still a solid, well built, Pantera hull. No one should be scared of buying a Bill Dahl rigged Pantera. Everything is 100% functional, it's just a lack of attention to detail, and the gauge placement really bugs me

Now Battle Cry, quit getting your underwear in a bundle I don't think we are ripping on the boat you have for sale......just relaying the experience of another Bill Dahl rigged 28. Sorry if it puts yours in a bad light.

Hell, it may be rigged tighter than a knats ass. It certainly is a good looking boat. Put that bad boy in the classifieds for more visibility and make someone a killer deal!

I am ready to make someone a killer deal. NOW!

Fred, I do have a SMALL problem with your buyers remorse and the fact that you feel that you were misstreated. The way I saw it was that he bent over backwards to make sure that you were satisfied. I was under the assumption that you looked and tested it before you bought it. I do remember you and one or two others flying in to look at the boat then purchase it. But ofcoarse you are always right.
