Default Thanks Bruce!

Cool Photo!!!

I'll probably do the 1/2" spacer first for 4 5/16" because I own one (will have to pull it from my Daytona). I'm pretty sure Chris Martin will let me borrow a 1" if he has one and I'll buy it if it works well (I bought my XZ/Imco lower and 1/2" spacer from Chris)

how does this boat respond to the Imco Lower??

Mr. Awsome, We will be happy to store the boat for you @ no charge, of course! We can try some props on the boat and run it in different water conditionsw/ Jo. But as far as relocating your drive height, we can not do it in that time frame! We are swamped w/ work . That is why i am here Sat 6 AM. So let me know, Regards, Pepe.

Hey B Stubb,
I run a 95 28 Pantera with 600 HP -
Mike just cut a prop for me -

my std 26 4 blade turns 77 mph @ 5800 RPM ( X @ 17 ")

Mike 28 lab prepped turned 77-78 @ 6000 RPM
All readings are by 2 GPS unit ( on board and hand held )

I need to try a 30 " prepped unit - I will also try to
lower the X by an inch to see how it affects performance . Horsepower peak is 5500 , so I am way over revving - Need to get the prop to bite and get the RPMs' down .

As far as efficiency , the 28 labbed is a 26.5 " unit for the calc .
Efficiency looks to be around 75% .??
Based on .0006249( prop) ( rpm) based on 1.5:1

So when you say x is 17", where are you measuring from??

After this weekend I'm going to say I may need a deeper x. I've got 20% slip, get my best at just about a 1/2 a tic above neutral on the drive, 71.6@ 4900, more trim just ups the r's without a speed gain then speed falls off about 2 notches up from neutral.

this is with about 5/8 tank and 3 of us in the boat at 1120 ft of elevation.

Brian...
Your boat is quite a bit heavier than Alberts boat...
His is a full race set up- I think it only weighs 4400lb or so. Your full cabin/pleasure lay out probably weighs 1000lb more, but Pepe would have the better weight difference for ya.
Anyway, your boat runs damn good, and looks good doing it!
Let me know when you're bringing the boat over for Jo and Pepe to look at it. We'll go for a ride, and hit Shooters, Monty's, and Hooters...

Tim
