American Express's boat seems to be moving along at a rapid pace. Maybe he can give you some pointers on what it takes to get a boat built? Do you think Pantera just likes him better?

If you do construction to your house, do you give the contractor all the funds up front? If you do, you'll get what you pay for... a workvan leaving skidmarks out your driveway.

For the record I payed according to Panteras schedule but funded the engine & drive myself since it was custom & after I had already ordered the boat with a Merc 525. it was the least I could do for Pantera allowing me the flexibility to make the change half way thru the building process. no secrets here guys, sorry to burst your bubble!

I ordered it entered into a contract, agreed to a payment schedule, communicated on a regular basis, visited when I could & now my boat is complete! Did it take longer than I expected yes it did but i went from a stock Merc powerplant to a KE which required way more rigging not to mention the more elaborate paint than originally agredd to. So in my case i feel like i contributed to the delayed delivery.
