Not once the documentation and ship mortgage go thru, it is what it is then baby
. Bought a bunch of boats from S.Fla builders but never had problems like these fortunately.
Certainly all performance builders, dealers, support organizations yada, yada, yada are having problems in the current economy. Pantera has been around a long, long time and I certainly hope will remain in the future
.
Everybody likes to reminisce about how great the "day" was on a 188th street but you think this **** didn't happen then? Think late 80's early 90's...remember
?
With the internet and instant communication where anyone can say anything, anytime, comes significant pluses and minuses. For the owners and Pantera I certainly wish all the best.

This has been interesting reading. Not taking sides, but I have a couple of comments.
1) If Pantera or any other builder is going to be in business, they must operate in a business way to succeed. This means doing what they promise in a timely fashion as promised. If not they need to be exposed for what they are.
2) I would NEVER pay any boat builder, especially a small custom builder in advance for a boat they have not built. Maybe I will never own a custom boat, but that is a BIG mistake that I have seen on OSO now too often.
3) My personal opinion is that anything over six months is too long to have to wait for a performance style boat of any size. A mega yacht is a different story, but a 28 foot boat just should not take that long.
I hope that everyone can get this resolved and move on. In my opinion the ball is in the manufacturers court.
