Down at the shop!

Sonny and myself, where down at the Pantera shop on tuesday. Jo, Pepe and Linda where very hospitible. It was a pleasure to meet them, and get everything out on the table. They were able to answer all of our questions. It was also , nice to see my boat. It was bad azz, and alot more boat then i thougt was possible. Jo was nice enough to take Sonny and myself out on a 28' w/twin 496ho's like mine. It was a bad azz ride in the ocean, w/hit about 82 or 83 mph. Jo no's his shi*. Thank you again Jo, Pepe and Linda. Jo good luck w/the wedding and congratulations. DOMZ

Hey Dom:

Did you see my boat?

Re: Down at the shop!

What the heck is up with this. They have time to show you how great things are and answer your questions and even give you a great ride in a boat and a guy who has been waiting how long cannot get his boat delivered.

Something is just not right here.

I cannot come to any conclusion but that FT525 is not telling the whole story or Pantera is really screwing some people over.

Re: Down at the shop!

Stormrider, i was impressed w/my boat beyond belief. My other pantera was a twin engine. I like having 2 engines, easy to dock and if one goes down you can always get back. I really enjoy having 2 engines!!!!!! Thanks DOMZ

After the smoke clears from Domz rear end, he might take delivery of his boat next year sometime. Sorry Domz, you need to see the whole picture?

Lets all hope that Domz gets his boat as promised and then there will be one less issue and one more boat owner on here.

HOPE is such a great word given so much to so many

Dom will be off the ether in 7 more days. Thats when they will have to come up with another excuse why they had to break their "no bull****', no more lies" promise that he would be boating in 2 weeks guaranteed. I feel bad Dom but you should take that lawyers advice on the other post and take the boat the way it is before you lose it completely in a BK.

Chuck,

What kinda of boat do you have, and where are you in Saratoga Springs? I live in Greenfield and run a 2001 24' Pantera. I use to run a teal 22' Donzi Classic that I sold to a marina in Lake George. Jeff

Hi JO:

Thanks for the update. WOW...a TV in the cabin! All he'll need is a popcorn maker and he'll never want to leave the boat!! Can't wait for some pics.

BTW...I got 70 the other day with half a tank. Boat runs awesome. Best to the family.

Ron

With some more seat time and motor break in you will be in the 73 MPH range on GPS. We can play around with some labbed props when you bring the boat down this Winter.

I will post pics. of Domz boat this week. His 28' is powered by twin 496 HOs and has full hydraulic Marine Machine steering, swim platform, GPS installed behind the bolster seats, custom sound system, and XM radio. Paint work looks awesome.

Regards,

JO

Re: Down at the shop!

Hey Jo, Dom's boat looks great, but what happened to your 2 week guarantee thats now 4 weeks old? I know you probably realize this but boating is pretty much over here in upstate N.Y. after Labor Day weekend. You have no idea how much heat Dom is getting from his friends and co-workers. This is the second Labor Day weekend that Dom will be boatless in which you have promised him he will be boating. Time to step up and be a man and business person who's word means something!!!! P.S. I just purchased a "custom " boat and was given a delivery option of 8 weeks, I decided to take an April 05 delivery and I bet i'll be boating before Dom is. What do you think?

Re: Down at the shop!

Chuck,

Whats it to you ?? I am sure Dominick can handle his own problem. I dont need to explain anything to you.

Like I said on my last post : He will be boating in the next couple of days. Dominick upgraded his Stereo, and added a TV in the cabin while he was here visiting a few weeks ago.

Do you really want to make a bet on when he will be boating ???

Why dont you just go and mind your own business.

Worry about your own things.

About being a man: why dont you come and tell me in my face instead of on a computer.14100 Biscayne Blvd.

Man, those 496's look way different than the brand new 496 in Bill S.'s boat!!! ;)

Re: Down at the shop!

Boy those engines look BIG!!

Hey JO:

Have you guys ever thought about staggering them? I realize there may be less cockpit room. I guess you'd have to move everything forward and it probably would change the entire characteristics of the boat. Just thinking that I'd hate to drop my screwdriver.

Actually, now that you mention it something does please me. Ron L. gave me a ride in Full Throttle last week and I was extremely impressed by the ride. We hit some big cruiser wakes, and the boat was solid and ran awesome with that 525. You build one hell of a boat when you get around to it!!

Oh yes, one other thing. Those sure look like 496's. They just look a little different than Bill's new 496 ?? ;)

Hey JO - PANTERABOATS

I really like the looks of your 28. What type of performance number are you looking at in the 3000-4000 rpms range with twin 496ho and how do they compare to a 28 with a single 525?

Bill

Hey bcoffield:

With my single 525 I run in the 40-50mph range. Real good cruising speed.

Hey Jo, Ive been out of town for a couple of days and just got your response. I would like to make that bet for how ever much you would be willing to put in an escrow account. If Dom can't get his boat for almost two years after paying you IN FULL, I can't really believe you are a person who can be taken at their word on a bet. Let me know how much you can scrape up without hawking any of the parts off Dom's boat, just causing my friend more delays. Remember people are watching here, you said he would be boating on Labor Day weekend. You did mean 2004 didn't you?
