Hey Guys:

I'm going to try and fabricate a footrest using some expensive 3/4" Birch wood and integrate it with the well. Then maybe carpet it or put some perilli flooring over it. Only need 4 pieces, may dowel together and secure with stainless screws. It may be heavy but I want it to be able to take some weight. I haven't heard back from STIDD and after I emailed Twin Marine, they responded that they couldn't help.

If it works, I'll be advertising them for SALE!!
