Dangling Feet
#1
Hey Guys:
The wife is on the short side and so am I, but I was wondering if anyone makes a foot rest that can connect to the bolsters when the seats up? She, rather than I, likes to sit down for a more leisurely ride..yeah right!! Just thinking of her.
JO, do you have any ideas or thoughts?

Ron, check out www.stidd.com
They are located on LI and do serious custom seating.
Maybe they could use their existing style footrest and fabricate it so it can hinge off the bolster stand.
Or you could just wear Platform shoes.

Hey Storm:
I emailed stidd and will await their reply. Thanks for your assistance. Sorry we didn't meet in westport. A bit too early after the night before(hic-hic). Maybe we could get together before I trailer the boat to Bonita the later part of October.

Do you have the footwells? I bought a nice cooler (igloo I think) that fits the well nicely. I lay and old towel down to keep floor/cooler from chafing.
My wife is well shy of 5' and this works for her nicely. On smoother water I sit without worry, I'll drop the seat when I find bigger water (none where I live)

I have the footwells. What size cooler do you have? Is it an Igloo? I need about a foot for her to touch comfortably. I think I'm going to take some measurements and grab some 1/2" or 3/4" plywood..and make a piece to fit perfectly..then carpet it. It's a plan anyway.

Ron,
Just looked- igloo Max cold, bought at wal-mart 2 months ago, ice does last a long time, Cooler stays secure through the rough stuff too. does not say a size, I cant recall if it was 48 qt or 72 or what. It does fill all of the floor but the forward most couple of inches, has maybe an 1/8" on the sides. Mine's silver with a white top which goes well with the Pirelli, how do you like your snap in carpet? It's on my to do list. I bet you find the cooler on an igloo site.
Ken
PS- I grew up in Colchester CT, Dad has a charter boat now, fishes mostly out of Niantic and sometimes Cape Cod. He does not get the fast boat thing- just shakes his head (really did not get my 99 mph Daytona 25) Anyway- knew you were there somewhere, could not remeber if it was CT or NY.

We can't use the seats in the up position without our feet dangling.
I would like to get them to stay open half way so I can rest on them while doing longer runs in the rough stuff. My son in law is 6'5", and my two sons are 6'4" and they can sit in the seats with their feet on the floor just fine. I was thinking of letting the seat ride on the two SS pull pins on the very front seat rail. I'm going to check that out this weekend. I'll use PVc pipe, cut in half with double stick tape so I don't kill the white powder coated rails.
Any other ideas?

I'll check it out
Thanks
