Once again, we've talked ourselves out of a steel trailer and staying with aluminum. We live on a gravel road and although the boat is only on the gravel a couple times a year (stays at the river during the summer), I like the fact that you don't worry about rock chips. A welded aluminum Myco would be the cats ass....but $$$

Pantera28-650HP - how do you like the Allison?

jr2 - I'll keep you in mind if and when I move mine.

I hear you, I use the RV type brushes on my truck- don't see gravel much but why take chances?

I returned Pm's to a couple of you on some potential trades, let's talk when you can

Good luck on your dealings. Someone is going to get a fine Myco trailer.

Old thread- but many newer readers- I'd still like to do this if I could make a deal that made sense, reasonable on price, I just want to get a simple AL trailer with a pair of 5200's.

My trailer has not changed, real low miles (500 a yr max), never in salt since the maiden voyage. That said- I'm about to do a 1500 mile RT to FL so some miles and salt are on the way- will rinse/flush thuroughly of course

That trailer is the cats ass and it tows very, very well. The only miles I put on it were its trip from Jo to Me and then I took it to LOTO where it stayed. There aren't many built that fit a boat like that Myco does. Aluminum is nice for salt but they don't have the bunks and support of that trailer.

Kirk , my last Myco was a 1991 and when I sold it last year it only had some road chips and a little surface rust where the steel attached to the bottom on the bunks . I towed it with my E350 ford van stupid fast all the time . They Tow so good that it makes the long runs alot easier , and they look cool too !!!

littledcsrodshop- your Pm box is full. Still willing to do something, but at the same time, I'm content to run it and maintain it cause with my one trip a yr to salt I see 10 more yrs easy out of the trailer with the flushing, touchup and care that I give it.
