beleive me ,a lot of people know about the bull**** they pull in miami!!,after this last year that passed i will never put down money again for something that isn't done and ready to go,i rather take a used boat or a new one from a dealer cause buying direct from builders to save on dealer fees is not worth the fuc**** headache, and about the boat on the trader,it can be had for 30k,i know the owner and i think he just redid the interior.

Had nothing to do with a builder, this boat was a used boat from a dealer.

Regardless, seemed odd a 99 Pantera24 for that money. Must have been poorly cared for for it to have gotten into that shape in that short of time, 5 years. Power Marine has a "project boat" section and they should cut the price in half(obo) and list it as a project.

Age of a boat of this caliber is not nearly as important as its condition.
Powertrain set aside, the constructon of the boat should make it last.
If the boat was a 1993, but in mint condition, wouldn't it command more than a 1999 like this one in question?

Exactly my point. Pantera's on on the top of my list as far as quality. Sure the hull is in next to perfect shape, just a shame to see a newer year Pantera kept in poor condition. They are built so well that it must have been really disregarded to have gotten in such poor mech condition so quickly, especially that it was not stored in water.

Minx, I just guess many people aren't like us(on this site) that are passionate about their boats(cars, etc). But if the boat was in mint condition, they'd probably be asking 30k+.
Whenever I go looking at boats, the old saying keeps coming true... you get what you pay for.
