well i guess i am having a hard time understanding what you are talking about because it seems like to me all the flat tappet and roller dirt track and asphalt circle track motors are put together with cast cores and they turn 7500 plus rpm and run them all season so can you inform me why you think this cam will break or wear out and what will break or wear out on it ??

Yup your right / Im not sure what they run in dirt track all ive seen has been roller in dirt track however in lower classes they do run flat tapet . All I can tell you is a cast cam will not last in a boat whatever time you get will be a blessing. Mercury dont use cast cams/ inovation dont / Cheif dont /Expert Engins dont .I held a cam out to Rick at Expert engins Rick looked at it for 5 seconds said cant use cast cam in boat .Please dont take my word who am I ask around.

You should carry that bottle w/ you, just incase you can't find any hi octane at the pumps... you can just pour a liter in!
If i can get my motor to run on SoCo, it'd be cheaper than gas! LOL

ahhh, home sweet home.
Good to see that boat gettin power.
It's so nice to see a builder let you put your own power in a new boat.
When you do figure on splash time?
