I need the dimension from the Rub Rail down to the top of the Gimble Housing. As it is snowing here in IL my boat is in storage and I can't measure this myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Here is what dimension I am looking for:

That measurement is going to depend on the X dim. Mine X is high @ 20 1/2" with the notch, but you can subtract accordingly if you know your X dim.
From the top of the gimble to the center of the rubrail is 13 1/2"
I assume you're doing this to measure for the swim platform.
Here's a pic of my transom.

Hey Griff -
Thanks for the input. Yes, I think the platform would be a nice addition to the boat and the price is right.
I have my water dump just to the left of the drive and I bet the damn bracket is going to hit it!!!
I'd hate to pull the thing out and have to patch a brand new boat. Any ideas? Should I trim the bracket rather than mess with the hull?
Hope all is well with you and your lovely wife! See you guys this summer again!

Have you thought about installing 2 Dana swim steps, one on either side of the transom? They are smaller and will not change the looks of the boat as much and can be mounted lower for easier boarding for younger swimmers.
