I had the opportunity to see the new 35 that was ready for delivery to Scott Ferguson when I was in Miami recently for the boat show. Super boat with old school quality everywhere.
Pepe and Jo did the usual outstanding job. You know a boat like that gives you such confidence when you go out with your family or friends in the real ocean.
How many boat companies can say that they have 30 years experience of building fast boats...AFTER...they set the Miami to New York record in a 24 foot boat?
How many boat companies today even with their biggest model would even dare to think about running Miami to New York?
It takes time to build quality but the wait will be forgotten as soon as the new owner takes his first ocean experience.
Scott, best of luck with your new boat, nice to have met you at the factory.

Right on Top. We dont need round bubble windshields and round bubble integrated swim decks. If my wife would let me I would run My 24 from here to miami just for the fun of it, I would make it there too.... PANTERA without doubt makes the best looking boats.

Charlie, You were my childhood idol, and still are!!! I vividly remember when we first met @ the Bacardi race. (Miami- Bimini) It was around May 1977.
I hear people talk about rough water, that was rough water!" real"
6-8' ocean swells w/ the next shore 47 miles away across the gulfstream To me that was real "Offshore racing" We raced each other, and on top of that we raced the ocean. Remember? We had to have on board a real life raft, a gallon of water per person and food rations. No helicopter w/ divers, maybe an aircraft or two watching us race across, and then we got "state of the art" EPIRBS, in case you broke down and the gulfstream started taking you north,so that you could be found before you hit Cape Hatteras and went East to ??? It was fun! Later, Pepe

Hey- Be sure to speak up about the race... I'm ready to get involved if others are serious about it... I'll drive, throttle, crew, or just be boat *****... whatever.
Bottom line- This is a race for PANTERA!

There is a guy on our lake with a 24, I think its an early - Mid 80's that has 3 fuel tanks. I forget what the usable fuel is but it's unbelievable, I'm sure the original owner had a plan for so much fuel...like midnight scenic runs...Ha! Ha! Ha!
I like the style of all the hot new boats out there, but it makes you wonder why none of them even attempt to run them in a Miami to New York race. Fountain is the only one that has done anything close.
