When I had my 24, I ran 72 with a 25 Mirage at 5200 rpm`s.....

28s are fine too. slip% should not be too much more, per Jo.

stock 24p B-1 @ 5900rpm 75mph, labbed 26p B-1 @ 5900 78.7(new jersey) cool air, water, low humidity. (Florida) in warm, humid air, water ...i lose about 2 mph

The same boat also ran 62-63mph with a 22p Bravo I at 4900rpm... I think my Sport model may have been a bit lighter than your SE. I spoke to JO a lot about props when I had my Pantera. He told me that when they rig a 24' with a 310HP/7.4MPI they see 65-66mph at 4650rpm with a 23p Mirage +. My boat never did that well, but it was close. I see vary similar results with my 24' Super. She tops out at 67+mph with a 25p Mirage+ at 4400-4450rpm. Your Tachometer may be off a little... |

My 28 spins a 28 Hydromotive, 5500 rpms, 85 mph on the gps, that will be a 12% slip, which is ideal.
