I grew up on Smith Mountain Lake and have been to the Poker Run almost every year. Never has it been to the caliber of the event this year. With the new organizer and new venue at Mariners Landing it was up to par with some of the major Poker Runs. I believe I heard there were boats fom 9 states.

They had live entertainment(Good Bands) and buffets both Friday and Saturday night. There is plenty of room at the new condos at Mariners Landing for everyone to stay as well as plenty of dock space for the allowed 75 boats.
