So it' July 22?
Does 880 miles get me a prize for the longest tow?
I runnin a 280 velocity. Will there be boats to run with?
Cruz is about 55. Fuel is around 80 gallons. Range is between 70 to 90 miles depending on water and whoes next to me.
Kids or no kds?

This event has always been for the fun of it.....my friend ran one of the nastiest years in a 23 Welcraft and had a ball,I think we average between 45-60 mph most of the time wrink and the Beekers let it all hang out now and again but then we all do. I think anyone thats comfortable in Michigan waters would have a good time on this run. Vicious if you pull 880 miles I'll give you an award...heck I'll spring for an extra Poker Hand.....then again there only $20 a pop.

I really enjoyed last year's route---Charlevoix, Grand Traverse Bay, Marion/Powers Island for lunch raft off, etc,but I would also like to see South Manitou, and Bay Harbor as well and still hang out at Marion/Powers Island for lunch.........BUT only if it's calm seas.
If it's NOT calm seas, then it would be nice to do a trip through Indian River Burt/Mullet Lake, etc. If it is rough out on Lake Michigan, then a trip to Grand Traverse Bay would probably not be a good thing with high seas. Either way I'm in again this year----that was one of the most enjoyable, and memorable times I have ever had. Truely a great time, and very fun cruising with everyone. Thanks again Scotty!!!

I have done the run in a 28,29 and a 33. I have always had a great time..Although the first years run back home was very large water...I have always enjoyed large water but, I think the run is a bit more enjoyable in the flatter stuff...Dwight
