He called me later that day and said he found the problem but do to the chit cell service up here I lost him and did not get details. Have not talked w/ him since. I do not believe it was serious, not 100% sure though! Tracy

Finally checking in on this thread! I was bummed I couldn't finish the day with you. Had a fluke problem - broke the pushrod guide plate on the exhaust valve on one cylinder. I was able to run fine on 7 cylinders to Elk Rapids where I put the boat back on the trailer. Installed heavy duty guide plates all around, and also heavier duty pushrods just for good measure. Everything was buttoned up last weekend, and I'm headed to Charlevoix Friday, Aug. 5 for a week of vacation. Looking forward to some trouble free boating and hope the weather is as good as the Fun Run day!
