Can you give me more details on Jammin' on the James Poker Run 2006. I live in Aylett, VA and plan to attend. I have printed out the registration form and filled it out. I will be sending it in shortly. How many nights do I need to make reservations at the Renaissance? What is the itinerary for the weekend? Any other helpful info you have, please give.

The run starts Sat at 10:00. Plan on being at the captains meeting Friday night or 9:00ish sat am. Launch at Jordan Point or Hopewell. You'll need a room at the renaissance for Sat. only (unless you get too ripped to make it back Sunday!! 
) Alot of us stop at Chippokes to hang out on the way back Sunday afternoon. And bring beads!!!!

Sound good too me!!! Use to hang out at Chippokes/Hog Neck when I live in Jamestown... Goodtime! Anywhere to get Cam 2 or AV fuel?? Use to have to get it in Newport News off of route 17... but wont be able to without trailer and truck?? When I use to run from Varina to Waterside, could only make it one way one on about 110 gallons of Cam 2, but had a friend in Newport News who would bring me cam 2 at Huntington Beach in Newport News, but he is no longer there. Any suggestions? (maybe run slower?? Hhmmmm….. naaahhhhhaawwww)

Perhaps park a truck at the marina where we will be spending the night with a couple of drums under cover? If you need help with logistics of dropping the truck off or pick up; let me know, I have a pretty flexible schedule.
