I'm planning on going, was hoping to find someone who has done it before to show me the ropes. I'm going to land mid day on Thursday to hopefully get lay of the land. I'm bring my wife and 8 & 5 year old. Plan on laying pretty low, my buddy is bring his wife & daughters who are both teen agers. keep me posted and maybe we can connect. I just got a different ride it should be fun.

ok, we are less than 2 weeks away. Does anyone know if you can buy a chip of the lake for the gps. Was hoping to hook up with someone who has done it before but looks like I'm going for an an find out as you go. I just want to keep my Ilmors and Imco drivs among other things in the same shape they are now.

Anyone know of the chip for these lakes?

thanks

here is what I got...

starts from marina pointe-fine 12:00 sharp on saturday.. registration are held at the same marina in person. first come first serve, same for docking, when no space available, raft up is the key.

No hotels or restaurant in this area ( marina pointe fine) closest places are in st-michel des saints 20 minutes drive by car from there.

always by car, 45 minutes drive brings you to lac taureau hotel See www.lactaureau.com
apparently that's a 15 minutes ride by boat from there to marina pointe fine.

Fees: no fees per boat, but 80$ per person, they had no clue if there was any charges for children since apparently no one brings their child... So I'd be the only one...

Horloge, auberge du lac taureau, st-michel and marina pointe fine are the card stops...

Hope that helps... I't's a 1:30 hour drive from montreal by the way...

Default Great Event

This was my first time here. What a great lake and event. Very different than a Poker Runs America event but great. Rain only a little. My 8 yesr old son and my buddy and his teen age daughters came and had fun. They took great care of the out of towner and only Donzi. My third place was just a bonus. Glad I made the haul, see you in Kingston.
