Can I drop in Lake Michigan at Leland?
How close can I cruise the coastline to the south?
I assume I can beach it along the way...
Sorry for so many questions, and thanks for any replies!

Plan on boating Torch this weekend if I can get this damn carb figured out in time.
I plan on dropping my boat on the east side of the lake just up the Clam river. The launch looks decent and it's right near the Dockside bar and resturant. Never been there but I'm going to give it a try.
Check out www.fishweb.com and go to the boating area , there is some pretty good info on Torch.

Chuck/26Scarab, I was up at Torch a few weeks ago withOUT my boat and took a few pictures with my digital cam. I will be checking out the Dockside restaurant as well on Labor Day weekend. Here's a teaser...

ajs few pics of Leland launch area. No prob beaching S. of there in Sleeping Bear - few sand bars that change with the weather but water is clear enough that you will notice them. Great place to get away from it all.

I used the one in the Torch River one Saturday and parking was crazy crowded. Are there any other decent launch sites on this lake?
THANKS!

Talked to Carl in a 2004 22 toward the end of the day and did a nice little leisurely 8-9 mile run with him.
